Sten 5 has a slightly slower pace than the previous books, though this may be due to the greater number of characters that are introduced to the story line. The higher political content and general flow also give the feeling that this book is a scene setter for the following parts of the series. That said, Sten 5 is still a highly recomendable read and is a essential buy if you own the other books in the series, if nothing else read this book for the last line.

i like the old covers the best.. when the publisher goes to the trouble of re-printing a title, you'd think they'd at least stick with the same cover concept that made the original famous.. but noooooo..
cole and bunch are/were a SOLID team. they wrote eight VERY good books for the sten series, and, in my time, the sten series is one of the best i've read.
