Perfect. Exactly what I had hoped for. Just the right technicality for a fairly experienced model builder.

The Reward is in The Details 18 Nov. 2011

Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I bought this model not long ago for less than $15 at a local hobby store, and didn't know what to expect because of the price. I have bought a number of Revell models in the past and have rarely had problems with manufacturing errors and they are always fun to build. I just finished it the other day (RAF version) and am very satisfied with it. The model has a high enough difficulty level to keep advanced modelers out of auto-pilot (pun intended) but never so hard as to be frustrating. The detail in the cockpit and decals was impressive; the Typhoon comes with almost 200 decals, most of them common to all of the variations. The cockpit had numerous small parts and decals which are very impressive to look at through the big bubble canopy. I only wish that pilots were included. Inexperienced craftsman be warned though: this model requires that you mix paints, which can be intimidating. Also, some of the decals are among the smallest I've ever put on a model. Other than that, if you're into models, you can't go wrong with the Eurofighter Typhoon.

I wasn't really expecting much from this Model but once i got it, i was really caught of guard! I mean for the price the kit is really detailed!! It gives you lots of options. Do you want the landing gear, air to air refueling probe and air brake to be extended or retracted ? three different types of SUPER decals ( one for Spanish Af version, RAF version or German Af version). I mean my typhoon is literary tattooed with small "No Step" decals. It wasn't hard to place but in my case, after it was done placing all the "no step" i had to start over since some of them say "petS oN". There were a few gaps but it was not a major pain. Also you can either put meteor missiles or amraams.. Overall i highly recommend this kit because it gives you the option of making it ur own! Only con side is that it didn't provide any pilots.

By the way, Why is this in the Toy Section? Can't really play with it
A disappointment 28 Jan. 2011

I bought one after all the rave previews on the net. Mine came with plenty of flashs, overmoulds, warpping and gaps. I had to file so many parts to make them fit decently. This is my 1st Revell kit, and the 1st impression is not good. Maybe I bought a lemon Typhoon, I don't know. I have another Revell kit, an F-22. I have to check if the quality is better. If not, then that will be the last Revell kit for me.

Great buy, a little expensive but very detailed and intact. Hard finding Euro paint colors this side of the pond though.
