The Millennium Falcon Easy Kit is an excellent little model. It really is easy to make and the results are superb.
The kit comes pre-painted and the paint job is well worth having. As a keen adult modeller I plan to add some extra final touches, particularly to the landing gear, hatch and radar dish but the Falcon looks pretty stunning without any extras at all. I am ever so pleased with the job Revell have done here.
The parts in my kit were machined to a high standard so there were no parts which needed trimming, bending or otherwise coaxing to get them to fit. Every part in the kit fitted properly, first time.
The instructions were excellent - extremely clear, logical and beautifully printed in a small booklet. The diagrams were clear enough to see easily, not only which part to fit where, but also exactly which way around each part goes.
As an adult modeller I have not really bothered with the Easy-Kits up until now. I was expecting the build process to be, perhaps, mildly diverting, but not really that great. I was really surprised to find that it was actually fantastic fun to put together. For children I think these kits are superb although I would say that the age given on the box (8+) is a little young for them to be successful unaided unless they have made models before. An age of 10+ or 11+ would be more appropriate if they wanted to do it on their own. With help though I'm sure even my seven year old son could enjoy it. They would also be a great way for inexperienced adults to get into modelling.
Overall this is a first class kit and well worth the money.

This is quite a detailed model for a pre-painted snap kit. Glue is optional, although I did use it to make the kit more secure. Took just over an hour of casual assembly to put it together.

Received this today 29 October.
Amazon have the size of 57cm long 35 wide etc etc.
THIS IS THE BOX SIZE
The actual length is around 35cm not 57cm etc etc ( some 40% smaller )
Please be aware of this !!

Great Kit! Just not as big as they said.
Accual size of item is a bit less than they wrote, cos that was information about size of the box, Item is smaller but still great.
