I'm not one to usually post reviews on Amazon, but after having watched this particular gem of a late night shock-soap from the mid 90's, I felt strangely compelled to share my thoughts for the greater potential enjoyment of the soap / drama loving public.
I won't bore you with a synopsis (you can read that above here anyway), but I first experienced Revelations as a student in 1994, late on Thursday evenings. It was outrageous then and it's outrageous now. It quite simply has to be one of the most over the top, silly, yet savagely gripping pieces of British TV drama ever produced...you just don't know whether to laugh at it (or them) or cry...but you just can't stop watching it...if only in complete disbelief.
Come on Network DVD...hurry up and release Series 2...you just can't keep us dangling like this!!

Happily, I managed to watch this first time round and have been waiting for years for it to be released!
Sadly confined to a few regions and a late night slot on its first showing, this brilliantly bonkers series deserved a far wider audience.
I wouldn't want to ruin the experience for anyone by trying to describe the plot, but just watch and enjoy!

I was hooked on this from the second I watched it years ago on late night tv. Fantastic and complulsive viewing. WHERE IS VOLUME 2?! It's cruel to keep us dangling like this! x
