Book Description

Book 5 in the Brides of the Kindred series
This book is a plus length novel--around 130,000 words long

Nadiah has the Sight—the ability to see into the future. But the one thing she can’t see is how she’s ever going to be free of the blood bond her parents forced her into when she was only six. Her fiancée is an evil bastard who delights in torturing her and her only way out of a loveless marriage is for a Kindred warrior to challenge the hated bond. But Nadiah has no warrior to challenge for her—she just has Rast.

Adam Rast doesn’t know why he feels so protective and possessive of Nadiah, only that he’s willing to kill or die to protect her. When the chance to set her free arises, he takes it without hesitation, even though his lack of Kindred blood could mean his defeat or even his death. But Rast has a secret, one even he doesn’t know he possesses. When he undertakes Nadiah’s quest, the truth comes out in a strange and provocative way.

Can Nadiah and Rast live through their ordeal? Will the truth about Rast set them free…or kill them? You’ll have to read Revealed to find out.

More About the Author

Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says "I'd rather be writing."

She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good read 7 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
OK I am going to be totally honest here but before buying this book I had my reservations with the All father defeated and everything all well on the mother ship what would the Evangeline give us. I tell you what a complete new dimension to the entire series.

Adam Rast comes to Nadiah recues her from her blood bond to Y'Dex. Adam and Nadiah both fight Y'Dex in during the blood bond challenge. Y'dex tries very dirty trick in the book.

Just when Adam think all is well he discovers his past and another person trying to keep Nadiah away from him as they deem her not good enough for him.

Evangeline has not simply carried the series on like her other 4 previous books she has actually extended the entire series. Her writing style as matured and she captures the characters in such a way that through the entire serious you actually bonded with the couples in the other books and there story don't just stop at the book but continue on.

We see Liv, Sophie, Kat, Nadiah and Lauren bonding and telling everyone what happening in their lives. Evangeline writes these scenes, as if you actually there in the room chatting to the characters. Not sure how she does it but it just makes the entire series follow.

Merrik story is introduced to the reader and we see how both Elise and him slowly come together.

Sylan and Sophia relationship grows when they discovered that they to need to go on a quest to heal Sophia.

Lauren and Xairn are discovering what new changes will occur in their relationship as they are settling as a new couple.

These little in insides of the characters from the other series are just blended in smoothly with the way Evengeline writes the series.

I'm looking forward to the new upcoming books in 2012. As Evengeline has not disappointed me in 2011 i know she will not in 2012. New characters and plots.

Loving the entire series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rip Roaring Revealed! 2 Mar. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
AS the fifth book in a series one might think the plot would be becoming lacklustre or begining to repeat itself by now but with this 5th book Evangaline Anderson works a really well plotted and exciting story into what might be dismissed as a 'smutty novel' Yes, theres smut if you want it (and when it is written as well as this, you very much DO!) But theres also a plot and well rounded characters you care about. The guys are hot and the girls are no cardboard SATC stereotypes. Yeah the plot is outlandish but if you're looking for a realistic story you're looking in the wrong place anyway!
The book is long (excellent VFM!) but really it could have been twice as long and my interest would still have been held. Anderson has a wonderful knack of keeping up a few plotlines at the same time and always keeping us updated on everyones doings and whereabouts (I would have liked more about Lock and Deep but you cant have EVERYTHING!) as well as continually adding new and interesting characters (love the new 'Big Bad' he is going to prove very interesting I feel!)
In short if you havent read the first four books (and if you havent I strongly suggest you do read them first...in fact get them all at once to save time!) and when you get to it, you will love this new addition...and if you HAVE then this review is pointless...you're going to HAVE to read 'Revealed' anyway!

5.0 out of 5 stars This wonderful series continues 16 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have been torturing myself by not reading "Revealed" as soon as I purchased it. I love all Evangeline's books but I think "The Kindred" are my favourites.

Having finally allowed myself the luxury of reading this I am in no way disappointed. I agree with reviewer Kat B that I also wondered where this next episode would take us but as a huge Evangeline Anderson fan I knew her vivid imagination would lead us somewhere amazing.

Kat B says Evangeline's style has "matured" as the series has progressed. I find this insulting to Evangeline who has always been a mature writer without need of improvement. I feel Kat B should have spent more time editing her own review, due to the many grammatical and spelling errors, before commenting on authors' writing skills. Why don't people thoroughly re-read things before publishing them?

I love the crossovers between the characters from the previous Kindred novels and the fact that we see how all of them are progressing. My particular favourites are Lauren and Xairn whose news in this novel was wonderful.

The challenges Rast had to undertake in this were slightly reminiscent of parts of "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" and a psychic "World's strongest man"! There is also a similarity between heroine Nadiah and Sayana from Evangeline's story,"Outcast". I loved the idea in "Outcast"and it translates well to "Revealed".

The title, "Revealed" is so appropriate as it covers many aspects of this tale.

As usual Evangeline has created a wonderful story which will develop even further with the next installment. I hope she has endless ideas for "The Kindred" and they keep going for many years!

Another thing I like about Evangeline's books as advertised on Amazon is the credit she gives to the illustrator and others who help her with her novels. It shows her generous spirit in that she does not take all the credit for herself.

Very highly recommended.

Quite entertaining and actually connected as series rather than aiming to be always available as stand alone items which a lot of authors do nowadays. I really enjoyed the lot :-)
