Recorded during the band's 2009 sell out UK tour on April 30 at the legendary Roundhouse in London. The Return to Eden tour was the first time that the classic Ultravox line-up of Midge Ure, Billy Currie, Criss Cross and Warren Cann had performed together in over two decades, and was followed by a highly successful European and festival tour that ran through the summer and into the Autumn.

Well, as being an Ultravox fan since the early 80's and this re-union being the 1st chance i got to see them live in their original line up to say i was excited is an understatement!! I went to the Nottingham show in April 09.I preordered this DVD set, arrived today, packaging is a touch sparse, not in keeping with a 3 disk set, thought there may have been some more comment insight etc, small niggles though. The documentary is very frank, open and emotional to see the band come together prior to rehearsals, especially Midge and Warren. The documentary reveals what would appear to be the tedium of being on the road/equipment set up etc etc. No doubt some of the fans arriving at some of the shows who have been filmed and then getting an appearance in the DVD will be thrilled!! Really enjoyed it. Now the gig itself..... the 5.1 sound is terrific, it really brought the hairs on my neck up!! With the volume up where it should be i felt i was right there back at Nottingham!! Really good job done here, very atmospheric, good camera angles, close ups and the sound is really spot on, does not sound false, it really thunders along giving a genuine feel for the concert helped also by the terrific lighting show designed for the tour...great!!! Well worth the price. Well done to all concerned. A must for all fans of Ultravox... and others who enjoy a cracking concert!! Enjoy!!

Awesome!, Brilliant! And that's just Warren's drumming, I remember buying the sleepwalk single in the early 80's with one of the best Ultravox B sides of all time "waiting" and thinking this band are going to be something special and future albums and singles proved that point.I agree with some of the other reviews here that some of the songs sound better live than on the albums, the documentary on the dvd building Eden is a nice touch showing the guys meeting up for the first time in years and an interesting insight into the process of putting together the Return to Eden gig . Pity "Private Lives" & "Waiting" were not included but that's just me, this is a class package for any Ultravox fan from the finest band of the 80's BUY IT NOW!!!!!.

Way Back in 1980......I Discovered Ultravox, They Were My First Proper Band I Seriously Got Into as a Teenager Back Then!! Even After They "Split" after "Lament"....Ive Always Been a Fan...Went to See Them Live On The "Lament " Tour about 15 Times!!! And I Often Wondered Why (..apart From The Mini Live Album/DVD "Monument") They Had Never Released a Proper Live Album, I Always Thought They Were Better Live Than On Record!!Well........26 Years After Lament....FINALLY I Got My Wish!!!!!.......And Im NOT Disapointed!!!.......If I Could Give This 10 Stars I Would!!! It Is THAT Fanatstic :-) Most Ultravox Fans Thought Sacking Warren Was a MASSIVE Mistake....Even Midge Admitted That In His Autobiography!! "U-Vox" In Midge"s Words, Should Never Have Been Recorded And Released, ( Though I Did and Do Like a Few Tracks!!) This Live Album/DVD Is Why I Loved Ultravox SOOOO Much, And Still Do, In Fact Ive Rediscovered My Teenage Years With This, And I Cant Stop Playing it. "Astradyne" Sets The Tone.....My ALL TIME Favourite Ultravox Tune, Followed By Classic After Classic, The Joy Im Having Listening To This Is Extraordinary, My Best Purchase For A Long Long Time, Also.....In Watching The DVD...In 5.1 Surround Sound By The Way!! That IS an Option on The Audio Selections!!! You See With Absolute Certainty That Chris, Warren, Midge and Billy Are Buzzing Through The Show! They KNOW Its a Special Thing Going On On Stage and They are Gelling Like They Once Did Way back. During "Hymn"...That Was So Evident When Midge Gives This Off The Cuff Smile That Tells The Viewer and The Crowd That He Was Pretty Overwhelmed and He Knew It Was Working, The " Building Eden" Documentary Is BRILLIANT, And The Most Touching Moment For me Was The Meeting Between Midge And Warren!!...Even I Had Tears In My Eyes!!!.....I Was Dancing Of Course!!!...haha!!....But Clearly Midge Was Dreading Meeting The Guys In The Docu, But He Neednt have Worried!!!!..The Sound..Production AND Lighting For The DVD Is Just IMMENSE. If You Are A Ultravox Fan...Or Even an Old Fan...This Is An Album You HAVE To Buy, Chances Are!! If you are Reading This You Are!!!! You HAVE To Buy This , Dont Think about It, ORDER It NOW! You Definatly WONT Regret It At ALL :-) If This IS The Last Ever Ultravox Record....They Couldn"t Have Finished Better.
