The SQL Server Agent add-on provides fast, precise backups of Microsoft SQL 2000 Server and SQL Server 7.0 while they are up and running twenty-four hours a day. It can perform full backups, or differential, log, and log no truncate backups, which are significantly faster because only new and changed data needs to be backed up. The SQL Server Agent add-on is unique in the way it simplifies the procedure of restoring a SQL server to a specific point in time. The SQL Server Agent add-on is licensed for use on one SQL server. The SQL server must be running either the Retrospect application or the Retrospect Client. Use this add-on with Retrospect Multi Server to back up over the network another SQL server that is running a Retrospect Client.
