I loved this shiny red kettle when I first got it but now it has some black marks on it which I can't seem to remove . I must have unwittingly had the gas up higher than I should but this did not happen with my previous [stainless steel kettle]Admttedly, I have not sought advice from the seller but I thought there should have been advice in the package. Disappointing, though I am still using it.
Doesn't make too good a contact if you're unfortunate enough to have an electric hob, so takes ages to boil. After a week, the ring fell off the whistle cap, making it impossible to use without an oven glove and a speedy action. If like me, you can't be bothered to return a bulky, cheap item like this if it goes wrong, steer clear. Mine's languishing in the garage.
Super modern yet retro whistling kettle. Lovely shade of red enamel and very trendy. Would recommend it to anyone and also excellent communication/delivery from the seller.
