I got this in two working days... You don't have to do anything, just open the post and start using straight away... I tried this with my computer and two laptops, working veerry well. Though I wasn't expecting it to be soo small, it's just about my thumb. But I can still use it easily.

I ordered this mouse a couple of months ago for use with my laptop and it has been fantastic. It is very small (approx 3 inches long and just under 1.5 inches wide) but with left and right buttons and a central scroll wheel / button, it does everything you need it to. My daughter tried it with her new netbook and was so enamoured with it she has "borrowed" it while we've ordered another!
It required no installation at all aside from plugging it into the USB port. The retractable cord is handy too and will save valuable space in your bag.
Be cautious of buying another mouse described as being "mini" - my daughter ordered one (not from amazon) but there is no difference between that and the full sized mouse! This one however truly is "mini"!
If you're not keen on using the scroll pad of a laptop or netbook, but don't want a full sized mouse, then this is definitely the one for you!

I was shocked to see how tiny this mouse is! But it just works fine, if you have small hands, that would be ideal product for you. And certainly, it takes less space!! : )
