4.0 out of 5 stars A cool and lighthearted entertaining book for all, 25 Mar 2004

I loved this book, back when I was 11 or 12 it sealed my love of science (along with the other members of the hitchikers guide series). The plot is amusing and enlightening at the same time and opens ones mind to a universe of possibilities.

3.0 out of 5 stars Diners Are Forever, 29 Jun 2007
Ah yes, this second book in the series is more adventurous and funnier than the first. Those warm cardboard cut-out characters again, Arthur and Ford may need to amend the ultimate answer if they get their maths right. Behold The Total Perspective Vortex and pay heed to the Super Chromatic Peril Sunglasses. Perhaps the days of Marvin the paranoid android are numbered. Maybe the end itself is more important than the beginning even if now is the beginning of the end of time and space continued...
