Goddard's work is something the horror genre is desperately missing today: honest. Far from the 2-bit writers who a cling desperately to the coat tales of the popular genre, she simply writes and what comes out is the genuine, spine tingling stories of a true horror fan. Her work holds a sense of wonder reminiscent of the Twilight Zone but infused with a good dose of John Carpenter.
