This is the best sales book I have ever read and I can see many of my own faults in what he discribes. He gets across in a readable and funny way the art of good selling and customer care. The chapters are short enough to dip into and I never read this book with out laughing.

If you only read one sales book in your entire life make sure it is this one.

What we realy need is this book on tape!

I love this book. It's written by a man who learned how to sell stuff in the school of hardknocks. Plus it's "laugh out loud" funny!

That said, if you only go for the research-based sales books, like Cialdini's Influence (another must-have book) and SPIN Selling you might be nervous about getting this book.

Don't be!

I urge you to buy it anyway! This stuff works! You don't need loads of research and reams of data to prove it - just try it out and see for yourself!

Business and sales books are usually boring and it's a major achievement if you've managed to finish reading some of them. Not so this one! Apart from being very informative it is also very entertaining. I had some good laughs while reading this book to and from work and people on the bus must have often wondered what I had for breakfast. It's obvious that Geoff had a lot of experience dealing with people and he's got some hilarious tales to tell. I was actually brought to this book after reading his other book "Go it alone", which deals with the subject of self-employment. I bought this one simply because it is so much fun reading Geoff's slant on things. He does however go on a bit some times but the humour well compensates for it. Keep'em coming Geoff ...
