Product Description

Product Description

Taking a step-by-step approach, this book will guide the student through choosing, planning, researching and writing a dissertation. Readers are encouraged to develop relevant skills and each step is illustrated by an example of what to do (and sometimes of what not to do). Crucially, the assessment criteria is explained so that students fully understand the objectives of their work. Acknowledging that project work is often not sequential, but demands consideration of several stages at once, it advises how to juggle these challenges.

I was have been treated with great service by this seller. In essence, they sent me a book of which they only had one copy left which was in a poor condition. They enclosed a leaflet apologizing for it and have now, after some friendly communication, decided to refund the whole amount. My experience with sellers at Amazon is a five star experience in general and it definitely is with Ferry Book Sales.

It's quite possible to prat around for ages doing any sort of research holding the wrong end of the stick, and in management research it's very possible to spend effort waving the wrong stick entirely.

This book helps enormously by describing the sorts of knowledge that are used in the various disciplines that management will encounter (management is interdisciplinary by nature), and more importantly what to do about engaging with questions in any of them.

Rather than tell you, this shows you. Figure 0.2, the main stick-identification chart, and its accompanying explanation are worth the price of admission alone.
