This battery is every bit as good as the original in my Fuji Finepix F500EXR camera. It takes approx 2-3 hours to charge so it is great to have an extra battery when the one in the camera is exhausted, especially if on holiday and you can't wait for 3hours. The battery arrived in 3 days and was charged immediately and ready for use.

I purchased two of these batteries but, although they arrived promptly, they unfortunately do not provide a good fit for my Fuji X10's battery compartment. They slotted in ok if a little tightly and when I switched the camera on, no problems. However, when I then attempted to remove the battery I had a real job to do so. After lifting the little yellow latch the battery did not want to move at all. It was in so tightly that I had to play about for ten minutes or so simply trying to edge it out of the compartment using a thin implement. I gingerly attempted several more inserts (but not all the way down) to see if a more comfortable fit could be achieved but without success.
I'm not sure if this is a quality control issue as there are no other reviews citing this problem but I didn't want to risk removing the other battery from it's packaging to see if that one provided a better fit. I can't afford to risk having this kind of problem in a shooting situation so will sadly have to return them.

Does the job.
Pretty good charged life too. Excels in that aspect for the price, to be honest.

Doesn't fit as snuggly as a branded one. It is a bit smaller in width. I would have been worried if it lost contact with the terminals but that's never happened, so all good!

Go ahead and buy it with full piece of mind

NP50 battery
Does what it's supposed to at a fraction of the cost of a big name replacement. After three recharges it seems to be holding it's charge well. Read more

Battery didn't take long to arrive. When it came I put it straight into the camera & it fitted well & was full so I didn't need to charge it. Would recommend & will be buying more.

Not the same but cheaper than the 1000mAh Fuji original NP50
It's considerably cheaper but not the same capacity or the same physical size as the original Fuji battery. Makes for a cheap spare in an emergency and seems to work. Read more
