Does exactly what it says on the tin. My laptop is like new again at a fraction of what the Sony battery would have cost and I this new cheaper battery lasts longer and is much lighter than the original. Delivery was much quicker than expected also.

This battery seems an ideal replacement at much less cost than a Sony one. Only time will tell how it continues to hold it's charge, but so far the battery life is at least equal to the original battery when new. It does not get excessively warm during use and was dimensionally identical to the original so no fitting problems.

My battery has lasted less than two months before dying completely
The official Sony batteries cost 10 times as much as this one, but if they last for 10 times as long then they're worth it.

Sony Vaio replacement battery
This item was well packaged and arrived promptly. It was slightly complicated to install relevant software though I managed. Works well-I would definitely recommend.
