My original battery was dying, so this replacement battery was a much cheaper alternative to the cost of an original Lenovo replacement. It is quite a lot lighter than the original battery, which is due to the fact that the capacity of this battery is lower than the Lenovo original (the original claims 5.2AH and this one is 4.4AH), so it is not going to restore the battery life of my T61 to its length when new, but for the low price it is certainly worth it and I get 2+ hours out of it, which is all I was hoping for.

I got this for a Lenova T61. It works great. The Thinkpad software identifies it as a non-official battery but it works fine. The Battery fits perfectly and looks no different to the original.
I get about 4-5 hours of use with this battery on average with light use i.e. not playing videos and processor hungry tasks.

Bit worried ordering this as it was so cheap, but was very impressed when I popped it into the back of my R51i. No complaints from the laptop of a non standard battery and it seems to be working fine. Thought I'd end up splashing out 5 times as much on a battery for a Lenovo so really really happy with this purchase - a real bargain. Fits well too - no wobble, like the Lenovo battery it replaced.
