I've had my MDR-V500DJ headphones for about 10 years now - love 'em to bits. But when they started leaving bits of black plastic in my ears and sideburns, I was about ready to shell out for another pair. The Amazon search turned up these replacement earpads, and they are spot-on - much cheaper than new headphones.
They make my headphones feel like new, which means that I've got to go through the breaking-in process all over again! Ah well...
