5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and classy leather strap 9 Mar 2014

This strap fits perfectly my swatch, I loved the colour and the material. I advise not to try to replace the strap yourself unless you really know how to do it and you have the right tools. This would avoid unnecessary bad reviews of this item which is much better quality than many other swatch compatible straps.

1.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to fit 22 Dec 2011

I bought this to replace a strap on which the buckle had broken. As there is no Swatch stockist near us I thought it would be an easy enough task to do the job myself.Removing the old strap was more difficult than I had assumed as the thin metal bars that connects it to the watch were very tight and difficult to remove, however it was a doddle compared to trying to fit the new strap. Basically, you have to push the metal bar through the three loops of the leather strap and four plastic holes on the watch. It should be easy, but I never managed it.The leather strap has plastic interiors inside the loops, which are completely inflexable and trying to perfectly align the tiny holes with the holes in the watch proved completely impossible and resulted in me breaking the watch.

My advice is to avoid this unless you plan to take it to your local watch shop which may have special tools to do the job, otherwise, like me, you might end up binning it and finding that, sadly, it would have actually been cheaper to just buy a new watch.
