i bought this extra blade as a backup as the one we are using at the moment has hit a few rocks in the last year of use. After some uses you will realise that the smallest of objects sometimes damage the blade. If you have a small garden your blade should last longer. I have a jungle in my garden, hence it takes a while for me to get my garden mowed. In the process sometimes damage is done to the blade, hence i have bought an extra unit as backup

Was looking for a replacement blade for my Qualcast PowerTrac 400. My searches revealed that the Bosch Rotak 40 / 40GC was identical to the PowerTrac 400 blade. The benefit for me was that the Rotak blade was almost half the price of the best priced Qualcast blade I could find. 5 stars for price 1 star satisfaction, hence 3 stars given. The reason I gave just 1 star is that the difference in cut between my old battered and blunt blade and the new blade is marginal, therefore a little work on your old blade should give results virtually the same as a new one.

Bosch mower blade
This was just what we needed and quite quickly as we managed to bend our old one on some stones. It arrived in a couple of days and fitted onto our mower perfectly.
