Working fine in my TomTom 520. The unit fits fine but the replacement is not any easy task, through no fault of this battery. TomTom just want you to buy a new unit, waste is profit. Take care when prising out the old battery that you do not perforate it, like yours truly did.

This battery has brought new life into my TomTom GO520T.
It was quite easy to change, 2 off small Torx 5 screws for the cover, dig your nails in to split the screen from the main body (else use a plastic widget thingy) - once you dig in work round like changing a tyre on your bike and it pops off.
Motherboard needs to come out with 4 more (slightly shorter) Torx 5 screws.
Disconnect old battery, use a Credit card (or similar plastic card) to gently prise the battery off the motherboard.
Take the window frame shaped double sided sticky tape off the old battery and use this to stick the new one in.
Plug the cable back in, fit the motherboard (4 screws), fit the back (2 screws).
job done
I saw a video on utube that helped a lot (similar model but same method).
I tried it on 1 charge and got 3 hours straight.
Nice Lithium polymer battery.
It would have been easier if the torx screwdriver was magnetic! My battery did not come with the tool but I had 1 already. I think you can also choose to buy the battery with the tool.

Was a bit wary about this idea at first as so many unknowns eg supplier,opening kit,tools required etc
But I did a bit of research and found a couple of You-tube videos detailing the procedure and tools required
I had the tools so that was a plus ( a cheap set of Mini Screwdriver & Bits from WICKS good for laptops & glasses too)
The hardest part is easing the battery out as it is stuck in with a Double sided sticky pad
as the circuit board is thin you must be careful to ease the battery out carefully
doing it in a warm room helps as it softens the adhesive a bit
I used a lolly stick and gently twisted it under the battery easing it out
Then it was a reverse procedure to fit the new battery and reasemble the unit I did not stick mine back in
Me being me I had to test it straight away
It had more charge than the battery I was scrapping after a 24 hour charge
worked straight away had to set it all up again though

Adequate Replacement
I followed You tube to learn how to install it, which was useful. It was quite easy to do, but dont try it without watching you tube.
