I was expecting this to be some sort of cheap import but it is actually a genuine Toshiba battery that works great.
It holds 2x the amount of charge than my orginal battery (4400mAh) so it lasts about 3 hours on Windows 7.
Overall highly reccomended :)

Fits and works fine in the Toshiba Satellite laptop, EXCEPT it only lasts about 1 hour 20mins before it needs a re-charge.
When I first ordered this, they sent a genuine Toshiba part, but the most I could get out of it was 45-50 mins.
The supplier took it back and replaced it quickly with a 'pattern' one, which they said would be much better.
Despite breaking it in with 'gentle excercising', and frequently running it down to 3 or 4% it has never got much better.
This is 4400 mAH, and the original battery supplied with the machine was 4000 mAh. When the laptop was new I could get 2 hours + without worrying, and I did hope that putting a fresh LARGER capacity set of cells in the laptop would get me 'back there' - alas no.
But it was cheaper than elsewhere, so I guess you can't have everything.

I was actually half expecting this to be cheap and useless but it works fine on my trusty 3.5 year old Toshiba that completely lost its capacity recently (5 minutes unplugged and it was crying out for mains power).I bought this and i can now get about 2.5 hours of work done before it needs a charge.. not bad for an 'old' computer I think: perhaps it'll keep me going longer than the 4 years at uni that I'd expected!
