Battery only lasted 2 weeks!! 24 Oct 2010

I have had this battery for about 2 weeks now and only just last night it decided to stop charging so as soon as the power lead was removed it shut down immediately, the worst thing is that the chip inside the battery design to send signals to the computer about the power capacity and how much it is charged must have broke as the battery icon in windows seems to be showing a 69% charged even when it is completely empty. It was supplied very fast and it very high quality packaging materials but the battery itself had noticeable signs of forced entry, if this battery is a refurbishment I would have liked to know that before I bought it. Overall a 2* for the packaging and speedy delivery but a 0* for the actual product.

Very disappointed!

Looking for a replacement for my Acer aspire 5920.
This battery was reasonably priced so ordered one.It arrived promptly,I charged the battery as instructed and works fine,very pleased with my purchase,recommended !!
