5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. 17 Dec 2010

My hobby is model building and German armour, I have over a hundred books on the subject and rate this as one of the best.

If you like the Heimdal, Fedorowics, panzerwrecks and Panzer tracs books you will love this.

It is full of excellent photos most of which I have never seen before and the read is "just special".

If I could have given it ten stars I would have, buy the book you will not be disapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb 30 Oct 2010
I pre-ordered this book and it has not dissapointed. Not dissimilar to Panzerwrecks (its produced by the same team), its packed with superb, high quality and well printed photographs. There is more text than Panzerwrecks and it includes first hand accounts from soldiers as well as the explanatory text and captions. There is a wealth of detail here to keep armour enthusiasts and modellers happy, I'm looking forward to volume 2 already.
