Fun to read. Paints a vivid picture of early Broadway and the difficult times these men faced... and surmounted. Their attitude was remarkable. Sissle and Blake (and their troupe) loved their work and it showed. Critics picked up that point as well. Shows what can happen when you enjoy your job.
