This innovative Flex and Pivot technology ensures a permanent contact with the skin for a close shave for fast and smooth results. Countdown the charge with the digital display
Getting started is easy too. When fully charged you’ll have 60 minutes shaving time. And for emergency stubble trouble there’s also a quick five minute charge function. Not that you need to keep an eye on the clock as the digital display indicator let lets you know how much shaving time you have left.

I replaced my old Remington Titanium after it finally died after many year's of faithful service. However, I was dissapointed with the R6130 from opening the box. It is much bulkier than the old model but never the less it's ergonomically pleasing to hold. Unlike the old Titanium which had an internal transformer for charging, the charger for the R6130 is attached to the charging lead; adding further to its bulk. It came supplied with a thin canvas, drawstring bag which affords little protection from damage,in addition the plastic head cover is a poor fit and is easily dis-lodged, therefore it's not an option to carry the charger in the bag with the shaver.
As far as shaving experience is concerned even with its floating head and cutters, it does not shave as close as the old one, I have to go over the same patch repeatedly; the only saving grace is its excellent battery life. Though cleaning under running water is suggested, in practice the only way to thoroughly clean the cutter heads is to remove them from the unit, which is achieved by rotation of cutter head to dissengage. Refitting, is the reverse but rather fiddly to accomplish. In all rather dissapointed.

The shaver does everything it says on the box. It gives a close shave with a minimum of noise and lasts for up to an hour between charges. It comes with a handy little pouch and in the unlikely event that it does run out of charge it can be used straight from the mains.

I have used an electric razor for over 35 years. This model is first class and gives me the close shave I require every day. I recommend it.

Effective but only if used daily. Disappointing otherwise.
There are times when, for personal reasons, I may go 3 or 4 days without a shave. If I do, this razor simply will not cope with the stubble. Read more
