While I agree with another reviewer that this product provides a very close shave and is good for detail and good value for money, I must warn against two problems with the product:
1) Once the battery runs flat, you CANNOT run the shaver straight off the mains power. You must recharge the battery.
2) The telescopic comb guides slip into shorter positions during use. This can leave you with uneven and patchy hair/beard. It even slips despite efforts to physically stop it from slipping during shaving.

I was in the market for a new trimmer as I had been using a pair of old hair clippers to shave. I was looking for something that would trim rather than give me a clean shave. I saw the Remington PG6030 Edge All-in-1 Kit and thought I had found a bargain, think again.
The first thing I noticed when opening the packaging was how cheap the trimmer and accessories felt, light and plastic through and through. For £20 you might expect that. However, the real problems come when you try and use the trimmer. I found that it is almost impossible to trim your beard in an even way as you have to keep the guide absolutely flat to your face otherwise it trims too deep and leaves a line. I thought it was just me doing it incorrectly the first time but the second time I really took my time to try and do it properly but it's impossible to do around your chin and jaw line, let alone getting your tash just under your nose! I also found that the trimming guide slips to a lower setting if you push to hard against your skin. I say hard, more like applying slightly more pressure than you would when lifting a piece of paper.
I now have lines all over my face and will have to have a clean shave, exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying these trimmers.
Oh also, if the battery runs out you can't use it off the mains charger as it will only charge it and can't be operated at the same time. I now have to wait till the morning to shave this mess off. Lucky i'm not planning on going out!
Spend a bit more money and get something that actually does the job properly.

It's a Remington so the build, feel and weight don't scream quality, there are some unusual battery protesting features which mean it won't run off the mains cable if the battery is flat. The other fittings area really easy to change but wobble over the very sharp blade set which doesn't increase confidence in use. However that is all by the by, given the fatal flaw this set has. A very sharp and efficient beard trimmer with an inconsistent depth gauge which slips (even if you are attempting to physically jam the gauge to prevent it). This is a cardinal error which could leave you with a comedy/patchy/piebald beard.
For this reason alone it gets a one star review and would do even if the rest of the package was amazing, which it isn't .It's basically useless, as my now rather depleted beard will testify. Avoid.
