Must take my hat off to Remington for this shaver. It looks good and it charges quite fast. The digital display tells you how many minutes of charge remain so you can know at a glance when it needs more power. You shouldn't get caught out again in one of those last minute dashes to the mirror!
Even if you do need a sudden finish to your face, there's a 5 minute "reserve" button to give you a extra 5 minutes emergency time. You may prefer to call it the "man on a mission button" for those sudden events requiring a clean finish.
Anyway, you can clean it under the tap, charge it fast and keep your eye on the clock to see how long you've got left. The extra fine trimmer is just a luxury really. However if you are after something to get tight into the hair by your ear, chin or lips without cutting yourself (and it does happen even with electic razors) use the fine tuning of the mini blade to add the finishing touch to your face.
Recommended for the close shave, style and digital gizmo to keep you aware of the time!

I took a long time deciding which electric shaver to buy after wet shaving for many years. I decided to go for the Remington as it had a good review and reviews were important in my decision. With the three foils, I thought it would give an excellent shave and I was attracted by all the gizmo's. However when I got the shaver, I tried to shave two days growth. I do have a thick beard but thought with everything that was said about this shaver, it would have no problems getting rid of this. To shave my face, it took me 20 minutes to get anywhere. Even then I still had a lots of hairs that the shaver just couldn't remove. I then tried to do my neck and I couldn't believe how bad it was. It cut nothing and after 30 minutes, a very sore face and a big rash that started to bleed, I went and had a wet shave. I found this shaver dreadful and would never recommend it to anyone. I returned the item and got a full refund. I decided to buy again off Amazon but chose a shaver mostly by reviews. Braun seemed to be the most recommended in my price range. When I received this, I managed to shave a whole weeks growth in 20 minutes with no rash at all. It showed me how bad the Remington really was and gave me faith again in electric shavers over a wet shave.
The Noise is really, really, really high and always has been.The noise is so high, you actually wonder why it's not chopping your skin away.The grooming is perfect though, it would be the perfect groomer if it wasn't for the noise...
