Some groomers/trimmers come with a myriad of confusing attachments for differing lengths/types of cut etc. and combs and bibs enough to set up your own home hair salon. I didn’t want any of those – even with a stand or pack to keep them in, I would only have to keep that somewhere and search for the bits I wanted when I needed them.
This doesn’t even have a charging stand, which suits me, as I have a few of those already dotted around the house for other things (at my age, I’d probably get them confused anyway). It’s just a groomer with a cutter comb cover, a pop-up detail trimmer, a charger, and a cleaning brush – plus instructions..
You can immediately feel that it has a good build quality about it and the stylish design fits neatly in your hand. I particularly like the positive thumb wheel action for adjusting the length of the cut (9 positions from 1.5mm to 18mm). And the positive buzz of a good hard working motor with good cutters is satisfying to hear.
The cutter comb cover attaches and detaches quite easily when you don’t need it (when defining sideburns for instance). You need it attached in order to set the depth of the cut, and you need to remove it for the small detail trimmer to pop up and operate. I suggest that you keep it on if you’re trimming wedding tackle etc. unless you wish to suffer the wrath of someone else besides the groomer!
It’s designed for corded or cordless use and I knew that it would take 14/16 hours to charge before first cordless use. But I didn’t know that it is recommended that you let the charge run out completely every 6 months and then do a full 14/16 hour recharge to preserve the life of the battery. I don’t think that my hairs will grow too tired of waiting though! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist it).

I was looking for a replacement beard trimmer that had a short trim length of around 1.5mm, a decent price, and backed up by good reviews; the Remington MB320C caught my eye and seemed to satisfy these requirements. I found the two supporting reviews on Amazon informative and was the deciding factor on the purchase, compared to other reviews I'd seen on alternative makes/models.
Amazon.co.uk offered a decent price, provided the expected excellent delivery service and sound packaging, so well done Amazon.
First impressions of the beard trimmer were a solid, well built, tactile, comfortable and well balanced in the hand; a very well designed product.
The Trimmer Comb Attachment is adjusted by the well placed thumb wheel; it has a good positive engagement when setting. The Trimmer Comb moves up and down to achieve the desired length and completely covers the razor, it's easily removed by pulling off, but again this has a positive action and firm positioning.
Your first job will be to charge up the trimmer for 14-16 hours. The three plug/transformer combo provides the means to re-charge, with a lamp on the trimmer to indicate charging is taking place, however when fully charged the lamp remains lit, so there's no means to indicate full charge - just watch the clock.
The Trimmer Comb is well designed and provides a fairly wide platform that sits against your skin to allow for an exceptional even well controlled shave/trim; it's also easy to clean.
There are 9 shave settings/lengths available, set by the thumb wheel and next to that is a number indicator 1 to 9. The settings are as follows 1=1.5mm, 2=2.5mm, 3=4mm, 4=5.5mm, 5=7mm, 6=9mm, 7=11mm, 8=14mm, 9=18mm.

If, like me you are someone who likes to do a bit of research before buying anything, then trust me when I say this....you will not be disappointed when you buy this shaver.
Its been about 3 months since I have ordered this product. The delivery was just as promised. Kudos to the seller.
Here are some points about the shaver -
    1. Sturdy piece of equipment. Doesnt feel flimsy and either too big or small. Fits just fine in the palm of the hand to allow a good control while shaving.
    2. Very powerful motor for trimming / shaving although it doesnt look like it when you first look at the product. This helps a lot in reducing timescales by avoiding me to go over and over again to get the right shave.
    3. It has the length settings from 1 mm to 8mm. I have only been using the 1mm for a close trim and the results are spot on.
    4. I am yet to use the supplementary trimmer that comes along with it and I really dont see its use for myself. But not too fussed about its presence.
    5. Battery life is just brilliant. I use the trimmer almsot once every week and have had to charge the shaver only once in the last 2.5 - 3 months. Super.

All in all, a very satisfied customer.
    Hope this helps

My missus broke my last electric razor after she went at her bush like a proper sheep shearing champion.

This is it's replacement, so far so good. My face is trim and the missus has regrown her dedication to the australian outback.

I don't have a beard but I hate being clean shaven, instead preferring the look of about 3 days' growth, which for me equates to around 2mm of stubble.

After doing a bit of research I decided on the Remington Professional MB320C and after 3 weeks of regular use I'm very impressed.
The comb guard that covers the blade is cleverly designed so that there's no chance of accidentally taking off too much length. After reading reviews of other similar products and seeing people complaining about poor guard design requiring very careful angling and positioning of the trimmer, I was very pleased to find that with the Remington you can just casually hack away with no danger whatsoever of taking too much off and ending up with a patchy beard/patchy stubble.

The battery seems to last for a while as I've used it roughly once every other day and it hasn't needed another charge yet.
It's also got a decent precision trimmer on the reverse, so you can trim sideburns etc.

This is a great product and is perfect whether you just want stubble or you've got a proper beard to maintain. It's also good value for money too given the price tag.

    **Update 18/05/2013**
Still going strong! On average I've used it twice per week, every week, and the blades are still sharp and cut well. The battery life has declined and a full charge is now enough for about an hour of constant usage, but this has only happened over the last couple of years and I doubt it'd present much of an issue unless you were using it every day.
