The Remington D1001 Spin Curl Hair Dryer dries hair while producing tousled curls and natural waves. The inventive Spin Curl attachment spins the hair as it dries, leaving you with dry hair boasting loose, soft curls in minutes. So whether you want that just-got-out-of-bed casual look or pretty ringlets, this two-in-one is your one-stop shop.

Using two appliances on your hair can be a long and tiring process, but now there's a handy two- in-one which takes half the time while delivering gorgeous results. The Spin Curl combines a powerful hair dryer with an innovative attachment that creates tumbling soft curls as your hair dries.
The Spin Curl attachment neatly fits on the end of the dryer, much like a diffuser or concentrator, and sections of hair are placed inside it. The airflow then spins the hair, producing natural-looking tousled waves as the hair dries and all without unwanted tangles or frightful frizz.
Step 1: Wash and condition hair as normal. Towel dry and detangle and for added bounce and shine apply styling spray.
Step 2: Rough dry the roots of the hair with the accompanying concentrator nozzle.
Step 3: Remove the concentrator from the dryer and replace with the Spin Curl attachment. Section off hair and place this inside the attachment before turning on the appliance. Switch on and move the dryer up and down the length of the hair until dry.
Step 4: For maximum curls and waves, separate the curls.
The grille, through which the hot air travels, is made from Ceramic-Tourmaline keeping the heat constant and even, eliminating heat spots that cause unwanted damage to your hair. It's anti-static as well, all the better for taming your hair to keep it manageable and fast drying so you're not spending forever with hair dryer in hand.
The Spin Curl has a lightweight design so it's not too bulky or heavy making it easy to use, whether you use the Spin Curl attachment, concentrator or neither.
The Remington Spin Curl hair dryer has a powerful 1800 watt (W) motor with three heat and two speed settings so you can choose how you want to dry your hair. And to set your style in place it has that all important True Cold Shot button which gives a blast of cool air.
It's designed with a removable rear grille that is easy to clean keeping your dryer working at maximum performance and a 2.5 metre (m) cord for manoeuvrability and longer reach. In addition, there's a hang-up loop so you don't have to worry about finding storage space for the hair dryer. Just hang from the loop to keep it to hand, but neatly out of the way.
The Spin Curl hair dryer comes with a concentrator nozzle to help focus the air and provide pinpoint, accurate styling, which is especially useful for straight styles. Or use it to dry your hair's roots before using the Spin Curl to ensure the entire length of the hair is dry. The Spin Curl hair dryer also comes with a three year guarantee.

Waves more than it curls!,

In the US they have a similar hairdryer, called the air wave. Reviews of the Air Wave are really good- everyone seems to love it, yet the Spin Curl has very mixed reviews. I think it's to do with the name of the product as essentially, if you are looking for neat curls, this dryer is not what you want. If you want loose curls or waves, you are in luck. I have fine, poker straight, naturally blonde hair, which can look thin. This dryer is very quick- much faster than platting and drying or hand twisting and drying, and gives better results too.I suggest sectioning your hair, twisting the sections and drying them, before you purchase the hair dryer. If the method works and you like the results, this dryer is for you and will make the whole process much faster. If your hair doesn't curl, then I doubt you will get much more of a result with the drier. I really like it and will use it alot, but I think it really depends on the result you are after as its a bit 'messier' and less polished than curling tongues (but alot faster!!).

Wow! What a great product!,

I have long (halfway down my back) straight, thick hair and spend hours drying it and then either straightening it or curling it so when I found a product which would save me time in the morning I was pretty excited. I usually curl my hair with ghds which give a very 'perfect' curl which is fine sometimes but I really like the beachy/bed wavy look as well as more of an every day look. I read the reviews and concluded that people with my hair type tend to find this product very good (i.e. long hair that isn't naturally curly) and as the price is only £20 (everywhere else seems to retail it at £40) I thought I would give it a go.I was not disappointed at all, I have used it about 4 times now and I just get quicker and am getting better results each time. I tend to dry quite large chunks of hair at a time as it gives a bigger wave/curl which suits my long thick hair better. My tip would be to make sure that you really give each load of hair plenty of time under the dryer (for the thick chunks I allow aprox 1.5 minutes) and if when I have finished the rest of my hair any of them feel a bit damp I go back over them. I don't really spent much time on my roots but always dry my fringe first to make sure it dries in the correct way! Anyway, I think this is a great product and very reasonably priced, the hairdryer itself is very good too so it isn't even a risky purchase as it will never be useless to you. I have received lots of compliments too about how my hair looks and people are so surprised when I tell them my new hairdryer made my hair look this way! If you are considering it then go for it! You won't regret it...

Bought this on a whim after a trip to the hairdressers didn't leave me with the inspiring 'do' I was after.I have thick, fairly coarse, medium length hair that does hold a curl fairly well with a bit of mousse. After looking at a video review I was interested but not blown away by this product. The tester's hair looked ok but a bit of a mess and not the curls I thought. I was feeling a bit rash and decided I'd buy one anyway!! After a couple of searches I found that Amazon had the best price by far so threw caution to the wind and bought it!! I couldn't be more pleased!! The hairdryer is excellent in its own right and the Spin Curl attachment looks a bit of a monster but works really well. I have used 3 times now and am really getting the look I want. I find it works best on day old hair. I dampen my hair with a water spray, spay on Paul Mitchell Soft Sculpting Spray Gel 100mland then section my hair. I take quite chunky hair section, and use the slower setting on the highest temperature. This seems to stop the hair getting quite so `dreadlocked'. Once the hair is dry I use the cool shot button to help the curl set. Leave the ringlets to totally cool down and shake them out! Everybody I know has commented on how nice my hair looks and some have even asked to borrow the spin curl attachment to try out. If you are wanting tousled, sexy, modern curls then give this a try. With a bit of practise I think you'll be very pleased!!!!
