I have given this product one star for looking and feeling a quality product, however for usability it is 0/5. I found it impossible to achieve a curl in my hair, achieved a slight wave in my collar length hair. I thought it was going to be a really easy way to achieve a curl but far from it with the added danger of getting a nasty burn from the prongs of the styler. You do get a glove to protect the hand doing the winding but very easy to catch yourself on the prongs. Far better to use traditional stylers. It is not often I cannot recommend a product but this is one of those times. Avoid.

This product looks attractive and comes with a heat resistant pouch and single glove. It did feel a little strange to have to wear a glove to do my hair and it's advisable to be prepared for some Michael Jackson jokes by other family members ;-) but the glove is definitely needed to avoid burns.
You wear the it on the hand not holding the styler because when holding the hair in place, your hand is very close to the hot prongs. You then wind sections of hair around the prongs in a figure of eight fashion and hold it for a few seconds...this was incredibly fiddly and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have very long hair. My daughter who does have long hair found it easier (and less risky near the heated prongs) than I did with shoulder length hair.
I was expecting this to be a smooth and easy way to produce curls but was disappointed with the process and the results.

I received the product just today.
I have a short, straight hair and no matter what product I have used, I couldn't give any shape to my hair, whatsoever... until this twin barrel tong.
In the tutorial videos, it is suggested to use sprays but I hate to use any chemicals on my hair. I didn't expect this much potential from the product but this is great. I washed my hair, dried it and then give this product a go. Its been more than 8 hours and my hair still in shape and looks great, even though I have't use any chemicals.
Heat options are easy to change before usage and not so easy when giving shape to the hair, so the temperature wouldn't be changed by mistake. Also the product heats up as quick as it cools down after switched off.
Though the gloves that comes with the product does not effect the felt of the heat of the barrels that much and there is still a danger of burning the hand, so still must be careful while using.
I think this product is great and a must have. Even works for short hair and looks completely natural.

Amazing!
