This is the fourth MS3-2700 I have bought. I have found they give me the best shave overall. But they do wear out after 2-3 years; the battery life declines and the shaver gets noisier over time. It doesn't give a quick shave, you have to run over the same areas more than once but if you do the end result is good. I have had variable experience with the life of the foils; the instructions say they should be changed every 6 months but I generally get almost a year's use before they wear through. It is great value for the money - but I wonder how much longer it will be available (I leave in the USA and its not available here any more.)

I inherited an already elderly Remington MS3-2700 shaver in late 2009 and, out of curiosity, tried it for a few weeks. I soon became a convert, both on account of its efficient shaving, its simple daily cleaning---in 10 seconds under the tap---and its potentially long battery life between recharges.
It finally 'died' in late 2010 and I reverted temporarily to a triple-rotary-head shaver but this did not give me quite such a good shave and took me several minutes to clean each day. So in November 2011 I ordered a new Remington for £40-odd from Amazon, which is doing everything I expected from it, and I rated it at four stars. The only irritating thing is that I see the price has been dropped over Xmas and is, as I write, on the brink of 2012, £32-odd. At £40 it was good value: at £32 I have to give it another star as an outstanding bargain.
