I first heard one of their songs, "i loved the way she said LA" on a music channnel and was quite impressed. Although this band haven't been around for very long they clearly have plently of talent both in their songwriting and musical abilty. The lyrics are clever and heartfelt. The style of music on this album is a mixture of punk, post hardcore and indie producing a very individual but seemingly catchy sound. Although they may be compared to other such bands like taking back sunday, thursday and something corporate they definitely have created their own identity.
The best track on this album in my opinion is probably 'Stolen from some great writer', it is melodic yet with a heavy guitar sound at the same time. This a fantastic album yet still very much underground, only a couple of tracks are perhaps slightly weaker than others. If they carry on making music like this they might perhaps get the recognition they deserve!
