Slightly disappointed with the booklet, not upto Ace records high standards (after speaking to Ace directly they said they had no input into the booklet - it's a 'Collectors Choice' booklet, thus explains the poor layout etc.) Most of the music on the compilation is good if uninspiring overall with a few exceptions. The exceptions are 'Golden rings' the Turbans, the excellent 'To Cry' by the Expressions and the fantastic unissued 'Did you ever get my letter?' by the ever wonderful Tymes (sounds abit like the Drifters). These few tracks alone are good reason to purchase this cd, overall enjoyable if not great.

24 excellent tracks by favourite groups such as The Skyliners, The Tymes and The Rays. A must for any vocal group and Doowop fan.
