5.0 out of 5 stars Knows his stuff 13 July 2014

This is a terrific book. Packed with information about HOW Rembrandt and his circle painted and some of the reasons that the paintings look like they do. If you are a painter interested in classical painting techniques and Rembrandt, this is a must read. The illustrations are great and plentiful and the writing is easy. He obviously knows his stuff. A worthy addition to the bookshelf.
