When I installed the first of these in my X7550 printer the printer refused to print. Not just the usual message that the cartridge is a non-original cartridge but the printer would not come out of 'replace cartridge' mode.

I re-installed my previous cartridge (one of the few genuine Lexmark cartridges I have bought over the years of using this printer) and the printer came back to life - kind of. It printed two pages then went back into cartridge replace mode (as though I had selected this menu option again).

So I tried reinstalling the first of your cartridges again.

The printer is now permanently stuck in replace cartridge mode with a blue light flashing on the cartridge carrier inside the printer.

The printer menu screen is also stuck.

Powering off and on makes no difference.,

The printer is now entirely dead, and it seems to have been caused by this cartridge.

I have now had to buy a new printer!

Very frustrated.
