A well-rounded anthology 1 Oct 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
R&O is a fine read for fans of the Dragonlance world. There are good stories and bad. Roger Moore rules as always with one of his gnome stories. Weis/Hickman disappoints me a little with a cliché-ridden story about Caramon helping a handicapped war-veteran. Jeff Grubb - who usually writes excellent stuff - disappoints a little as well with a thin story about a con man and an out-of-place demon. This said, R&O contains a lot of OK stories describing various lots in life in the fifth age. Moore for Emperor!
okay, but none too exciting 1 Feb 2010

This collection of short stories has its moments. I'm a big fan of Weiss & Hickman - some of the other authors do an okay job of writing in the world of Krynn, but there's a certain loss with others, almost like it's a different place altogether. I would recommend this book for "easy reading" as the stories are none too deep or real "page turners" - not a bad book, but nothing to keep in my library.
Not the greatest work of art but, it will manage 25 Aug 1998

I liked a lot of the stories in Relics and Omens, but what made me give it a four was that Zombie story near the end. However, the story about Caramon doing magic was very funny! I just wanted to say that this book is very descriptive about the new world of Krynn.
