PERFECT for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You. Release Me is a powerful and erotic romance novel that is sure to make adult romance readers sweat, sigh and swoon (Reading, Eating & Dreaming Blog)

Release Me sucked me in from the very beginning. I started cheering for the heroine, Nikki Fairchild on the first page... An emotional roller coaster, full of tenderness, love mystery and...hot sex - Release Me is definitely one you'll want to add to your TBR list (Scandalicious Book Reviews Blog)

Release Me...just made the top of my list with Damien and Nikki...the way in which J. Kenner tells the story, how vulnerable and real Damien and Nikki feel, makes this story so good, and re-readable many times over (In Love With Romance Blog)

This is deeply sensual and the story packs an emotional punch that I really hadn't expected... If you enjoyed Fifty Shades [and] the Crossfire Books, you're definitely going to enjoy this one. It's compelling, engaging and I was thoroughly engrossed (Sinfully Sexy Blog)

I will admit, I am in the "I loved Fifty Shades" camp, but after reading Release Me, Mr Grey only scratches the surface compared to Damien Stark (Cocktails and Books Blog)

I couldn't put this book down. I HAD to know what happened next... If you liked Fifty and the Crossfire series, you will love Release Me (Bungalow Books Blog)

Damien Stark...belongs with some of the greatest fictional characters...what makes Release Me stands out from the crowd is the fact it has such memorable characters...it was good, very good (Book Passion for Life Blog)

'It is not often when a book is so amazingly well-written that I find it hard to even begin to accurately describe it... I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in a passionate love story' (Romancebookworm's Reviews)

Along with the wave of new erotic romance novels, came this, Release Me by J. Kenner...I really wasn't expecting it to be as mind-blowing as this was. Release Me was SO MUCH MORE EMOTIONAL and DEEP and complex than I was expecting, I loved it...simply amazing (Romance Books Forum)

The story is one that will rank up with the Fifty Shades and Crossfire trilogies. I am impatiently awaiting book two! A definite read for those who enjoyed Fifty Shades and Bared to You (Incubus Publishing Blog)

Release Me by J. Kenner will undress you and leave you breathless! Kenner's erotic story, brings two souls together, where a love that has been elusive is suddenly craved. The attraction between Damien and Nikki is palpable, they are two strong personalities with past demons to contend with. Release Me gives readers tantalizing pages of sensual delight, leaving us reeling as we journey with this couple and their passions are released. Release Me is a must read...! (Readaholics Anonymous)

J. Kenner has written a sensually seductive storyline that catches your imagination and pulls you in (The Reading Café)

J. Kenner's evocative writing thrillingly captures the power of physical attraction, the pull of longing, the universe-altering effect one person can have on another. She masterfully draws out the eroticism between Nikki and Damien... Claim Me has the emotional depth to back up the sex... Every scene is infused with both erotic tension, and the tension of wondering what lies beneath Damien's veneer - and how and when it will be revealed

(Heroes and Heartbreakers)

Claim Me by J. Kenner is an erotic, sexy and exciting ride. The story between Damien and Nikki is amazing and written beautifully. The intimate and detailed sex scenes will leave you fanning yourself to cool down. With the writing style of Ms Kenner you almost feel like you are there in the story riding along the emotional rollercoaster with Damien and Nikki (Fresh Fiction)

The book has story lines form both 50 shades and bared to you, took ages for it to getting going took eight chapter to get out of the party, i also found my self skipping pages, became predictably. saying that when I did not skip pages I enjoyed the book that's why I've gave it four stars. I will read the second book.

Nikki first met Damien when she was taking part in a beauty pageant, she was attracted to him but he was there with someone else and she was too tongue tied to talk to him. Now, several years later Nikki has left beauty pageants and her very controlling mother behind her. She has finished her degree and is looking to get experience in the business world before starting her own company. When her boss asks for her help convincing a wealthy investor to help fund their new project the last person Nikki is expecting to see is Damien. The attraction between them is stronger than ever and now Damien has a proposition for Nikki, he wants her to pose for a painting and he is prepared to pay her a lot of money to do it, enough money for her to start up her company. He has one major condition though - for the time it takes to complete the painting Nikki must submit to his every desire. Considering how attractive Nikki finds Damien she finds it surprisingly easy to agree to his terms, there is just one thing that bothers her and that is letting Damien see the scars that she keeps hidden from the world. Nikki isn't the only one who is damaged though, Damien's scars may not be visible but they still have just as much of an effect on him. Can two seriously messed up people really find a future together?

I have to admit that I'm a sucker for anything that is compared to Fifty Shades & Bared to You, I love both of those series and can't seem to get enough of controlling, alpha billionaires with a bit of a kink fetish. I'm always a bit wary when I pick up a new series though, I've been burnt a few times now by stories that don't live up to the hype so I tend to be a little sceptical going in.

When Nikki Fairchild first met Damian Stark she was still in the beauty pageant circuit she hated. Although she felt a strong attraction to him she found herself completely tongue-tied. When he left with another woman on that occasion she had the impression that he was sorry he had to leave, but that, she decides, was probably wishful thinking.

When Nikki meets Damian again she has finished college, left her overbearing mother and Texas behind her and has just started a new job in Los Angelos. She is at a private showing of erotic paintings with her boss who hopes to meet the rich and powerful Mr. Stark to interest him in sponsoring a product he's developing. Nikki is there as the beautiful body to help clinch the deal. From the moment Damian and Nikki set eyes on each other there is electricity in the air. He intimidates and irritates her yet she feels a constant and irresistible pull towards him. And the pull appears mutual. In fact, Damian has a proposition for her; since he can't find an erotic painting that works for him he wants her to model for one. He wants her to model for this picture for one week; one week during which she will give herself to him completely. In return he will give her one million dollars. Since Nikki has dreams of starting her own company and is secretly excited about spending a week submitting herself to this man, she says yes. But, agreeing to his terms means showing all of herself to Damian and that includes the scars from the past she so desperately wants to hide; scars that may scare him away for ever. And she's not the only one with issues; Damian has a few of his own and he is determined to keep them secret, even from the woman he feels irresistibly drawn towards.
