I've used one of these for almost five years now. It's survived several British summers and now all-round Canarian sunshine without any problems up until now. Obviously, it was taken down when it rained in the UK and it's not left in full sun all day in the middle of summer here in the Canaries, but it is left out on a partially shaded patio all the time nowadays. I use it every day without fail for my siesta, so it's certainly had its use. A few weeks ago, the first string snapped and the material is slowly beginning to lose its strength. I can still use it, but I have to be a little bit careful as one end is beginning to look and sound a bit dodgy. Not a bad run for the price. It's comfortable enough for the price too. When I get round to it, I'm ordering another. Bargain.

Nice enough hammock, strong looking and more or less what I expected. However, it isn't the pretty pale colours shown in the photograph, it's a ghastly navy-blue and red and green - like a tartan. I'm miffed and disappointed. They should change the picture.

Really nice hammock - arrived quickly & my girlfriend has fallen asleep on it many many times this summer!!!
The colours are very nice, but importantly it is very comfortable to use & really easy to fix onto their metal frame stand. We didn't need to make any adjustments to it to get it fitted.
It is also easy to pack away into its bag, so can't comment on how waterproof it is, as we take it indoors after every use. I guess like anything - if you leave it to the elements it will probably fade and degrade over time.
But for me this gets a 5 rating at under £30!
