I found this book to contain explainations how to transfer the attunements, explaing why in spiritual terms. This had never been explained before. The section on The Lotus Sutra provided an explaination that is missing from any other teaching I have read. I now have an understanding of the practice that Dr.Usui had learnt to provide him with his enlightenment.

CD not included,

Love the book but the CD does not come with it as stated.
The book directs you to the authors web-site to download your free CD. The authors site then directs you to third party site ([...]), these two steps alone were a little hard to navigate. Once you locate the tutorial CD you have to establish an account to download it. After establishing an account I then had trouble downloading -- I kept getting a message that stated something to the effect that "free downloads could not be put into your shopping cart" (the choices: listen to samples or add to cart). So I contacted the third party vendor for support, and I received a courteous and immediate response. I did what they suggested and all seemed to be going smoothly. All Good. Well, here's the snafu...the tutorial download was in a file format not supported by my MAC or PC (both run current operating systems and software). I even had someone else download with the same result. I'm bummed. I would have rather paid a little more to have the CD enclosed with the book as I thought it was. NOTE: there is no support on the authors site to get the tutorial CD that comes w/the book and the site that offers the free download is not responsible for the file format posted by the author. Bottom line, no tutorial CD. However, I was able to download the mp3 music track that goes with this which is lovely. |
