About the Author
Kathleen Prasad has been an educator since 1993, a Reiki practitioner since 1998 and a Reiki Master since 2001. Initially learning Reiki as a tool for self-healing, Kathleen rapidly discovered that animals of all species were drawn to the healing power of Reiki energy. She has done thousands of Reiki treatments on all kinds of animals, domestic and wild. Her lifelong love for animals inspired her to provide programs to empower people to help the animals in their lives. She lives in San Rafael, California.

A must read for all animals lovers!

This book is infused with Reiki!!! It is evident that it was written with the animal's best interest in mind as the author's compassion and dedication to her work is very present in every written word. I especially loved the layout of the book and how each paragraph unfolded; I really enjoyed the selected quotes and practicing the "Try This" exercises.
Kathleen's personal stories are relatable to so many. I was exceptionally touched at how she articulated the importance of animals in our lives. They really are here to help with "the evolution of the spirit".
I highly recommend this book to every person and you don't have to be a Reiki practitioner to appreciate the lessons in this book - there is something in it for everyone!
If this book were an audiobook recorded in the author's voice, I would buy it in an instant!!!

Highly Recommended!

If you are on your Reiki journey and have a love for dogs, then read this book. I was thoroughly moved and inspired while reading it entirely through. The suggested meditations are simple to read and follow and the personal accounts are inspiring as well. Kathleen Prasad is a true teacher and a gifted writer as her methods really do work. I, myself, have had positive experiences utilizing her exercises with my own animal clients. I also read the book she co-wrote called Animal Reiki: Using Energy to heal the Animals in your Life with equal feelings. I am eager to see whatever her next project might be. This book is a blessing!

Compassionate and real, Reiki for Dogs is a wonderful guide for beginners and experienced practitioners. It is well organized, and contains many exercises, meditations, and real life stories from which to learn. I will be using it as a reference as I expand my sharing of Reiki with dogs.
