This box set is region free. All three series work in both my region free blu-ray player and my United States only blu-ray player.

Thanks for the confirmation - it is much cheaper than the US version on Amazon right now. :-)

Hello,

I live in the US and purchased a blu-ray from here that was confirmed as region free (from blu-ray.com, great site BTW) and although the movie itself played fine, none of the extra features did. Can anyone confirm that all content will play in a Region A player?

Thank youu

T. Bartell says:
Hi - I am just ordering this set now, but from reading the description the extras are 480 not 1080i, so being from the U.K. they will be in PAL format. This is a different issue than the region coding, you will need a NTSC/PAL capable dvd player to watch the extras. They are cheap, I got my Toshiba player off Amazon USA three years ago for $99.

Just in case any other importers are reading this, T. Bartell's above post is not accurate. I can confirm that the SD extras will play on my NTSC PS3. Physically had the item in hand and tested a few bonus features from Season 1 Disc 1 and they ran without a hitch. Much better value to import than to buy the forthcoming US version.

I will also confirm that T. Bartell is incorrect... the fact that 480 is mentioned as being related in any way to PAL pretty much speaks for itself. (and a DVD player for Blu-rays... really?)

I can't remember whether I tested these discs on my PS3, but my Sony standalone plays them perfectly... HOWEVER, watch out if you decide to get Miracle Day on Blu from the UK, as it seems not every player is compatible with those discs.
