Wierd,and then some,

What's up with Penny Birch? I must admit that I enjoyed reading about the exploits of England's most assertive submissive in "Tie and Tease", despite the occasional outbreaks of wierdness, and I was expecting more of the same in this volume. What a disappointment!I won't bore you with details of the irrelevant plot, involving some sort of a bet, but I have to warn you that wierdness takes over to agree which is neither tasteful, nor even sexy. Also, while I admit to not being submissive myself, I really found it hard to grasp Penny's motivation in allowing herself to be abused and humiliated by people who do not seem to be very nice. As a final insult, the tacked-on ending was totally unbelievable. I know you don't believe me and you're going to read it anyway, but don't say I didn't warn you.

Penny at her best - among other things, giving a whole new meaning to paintballing. Not for the sexually faint-hearted or unadventurous, far from politically correct, but honest and psychologically plausible as in all her books - appealing both to the master and the slave in all of us. If you would rather pretend neither has a part in you, don't bother. If you want to step out of the 1980s and explore some of the further shores of sexuality - then there is no better guide than Penny.

Extreme, and fun to read! An erotic masterpiece by Penny!,

In short: If you like extreme sex, with total degradation and humiliation and a lot of 'wet' scenes (yellow-rain, if you know what I mean) you'll love this book!This is the third book I read by Penny Birch. Indeed her books are becomming ever more extreme, and although Plaything and Tie and Tease are better, this book too is real fun to read. Penny get's into much more than she bargained for when she accepts a sexual dominance bet. And although many scenes are a bit extreme the book as a whole has a nice story with a lot of hot steamy and very wet scenes.
