I have just listened to Joe Elliots tribute CD of Ian Hunter, Mott and British Lions tracks on my CD player. Got to say IMHO that he and the Quireboys have done a fantastic job of all the tracks. In fact the Mott and British Lions tracks are so enhanced from the originals. Much heavier and the guitars, bass and keyboards are much more to the fore.
Its only my opinion I know, and Im sure many of you will disagree, but if the quality of these tracks had been on the original albums I for one believe Mott and the British Lions could have made it without Ian in their own right. Superb!!!

Yeah,As The Other Guy Said,The Sound Quality Of These Tracks Now Is Absolutly Fantastic,"One More Chance To Run" Originally Recorded By The British Lions Is Worth The Addmission Price Alone,I Always Loved That Track Anyway,But Now It Has Been Brought Into The 21st Century And Sounds Superb!

Many years ago it camt to my attention that Joe Elliott and I have exactly the same taste in music i.e we both own everything by Ian Hunter \ Mott the Hoople \ Mott\ British Lions and ,like the sad sacks we are, attended all the gigs that these bands ever performed. But there is one major difference between Joe Elliott and me - he is extremely talented .So he gets to re-record, in some style, some old favourites from all these bands and I just get the pleasure of listerning.But what a pleasure it is ! Thank you Joe. Only one question - what happened to the DVD filmed at The Mott the Hoople re-union that was going to come out with the c.d ?Rant

Pretty good stuff from the Leppard frontman

Awesome
Great Job and Joe Elliott delivers his best vocal performance since ages! Great stuff. Love the "No such thing like R&R" song -amazing!

Joe brings back to life songs that were sadly neglected on there first release.If your of a certain generation give them a try,you won't be disapointed.
