Always gentle, reflexology involves massaging the particular 'reflex' areas in the hands and feet, which are linked to corresponding areas throughout the rest of the body.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed., 18 Oct 2011
This review is from: Reflexology for Women: Complete Guide to Hand and Foot Reflexology (Paperback)
Having just completed a Reflexology course I was wanting to extend my knowledge abit further women's ailments some of which many people have different opinions on. This book is full of information, there are diagrams, full explanations on what each reflex point does and how the person should expect to feel after treatment during the 'healing' phase. It is not just for women though, it covers many illnesses and imbalances for men too. For the price you just can't go wrong - I will be referring back to this book many times Im sure!

5.0 out of 5 stars an excellent reflexology reference book, 15 Jun 2011
This review is from: Reflexology for Women: Complete Guide to Hand and Foot Reflexology (Paperback)
I'd been lent a copy of this book as I had a reflexology client with specific needs. I thought it was such a good reference book that I had to get my own copy! The text and illustrations are clear, making it a good refresher book by taking you right back to the beginning of your training. Even though its aimed at women's treatments, it would obviously also be suitable for treating common ailments in men. I would recommend it to anyone who is training in reflexology or who likes to refer back to notes or books prior to carrying out a treatment. I'm just carrying this book around with me now instead of taking a folder of notes. Looks more professional too!
