This little book is great. It is compact, colourful and easy to use. It covers both reflexology and acupressure techniques in an easy to follow format. After the introduction, it explains separately what reflexology and acupressure are and then has a series of treatments for specific conditions including soothing pain and women's and men's ailments. For each ailment, it gives a reflexology and an acupressure solution to the problem. The pictures are in colour, and are clear and easy to follow with little arrows on them so you can see exactly where you should be pressing and in what direction etc. It covers reflexology for both the feet and the hands with diagrams showing all the reflex points on each. While it is not exhaustive, or by any means a reflexology/acupressure "manual" - all in all,its a great little introduction to the subject - I find myself picking this book up again and again!

Great Starter Book!

I wanted a basic book that told me about reflexology and acupressure. I am just starting to learn about it, and this book fit the bill. It gave me just enough of the background and history, without being too boring. It had great pictures and diagrams. Not too many to be overwhelming, but just enough to get me really interested. It even gave specific recommendations for what to do for certain ailments. It also did a good job of explaining common terms used in the practice. I definitely recommend this book for the novice wanting to learn some basics about both techniques.

Good, compact size, too: Approx 8" high, by 6" long.
