5.0 out of 5 stars Great motivational supplement to the book... 28 Sep 2005
By Karen Beth Martin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I love these CDs. I have been listening to them and I KNOW that I will listen to them many times in the years to come. I am working through The Artist's Way program and hearing Julia talk to her students and explain some of the material is invaluable. It is also amazingnly motivational. Hearing her makes you realize that you can move past your creative blocks and make a creative life for yourself. I highly recommend these. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

4.0 out of 5 stars Conversations with Julia 22 Sep 2009
By Theoni Lussos - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Quite honestly I have found the CD's to be much better at explaining her "method" than her books and I have read them all except for the very latest (2008-2009). I really enjoyed the conversations with Julia where she explained her method and the importance of long hand, no computer, three pages each and every morning. She feels that the computer allows you to type and get alot of junk out that is about as worthy as the ether it goes into while writing long hand unto paper, forces you to slow down and somewhat organize what is most important and see the all important pauses that force you to face your fears and go forward. I don't think her writing in her books captures that as well as her verbal explanation. I would recommend following this CD with the On Writing by Ayn Rand, also on CD and really get into your creative space and kickstart your writing/creating habit. Cheers

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful to Accompany The Artist's Way Book 12 Sep 2009
By Suzanne Glass - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
The Artist's Way author, Julia Cameron, speaks about the book's subject matter on this CD. It is not a direct reading from the book, but rather the author's thoughts and expansion on the same subject matter. Anyone who enjoys the book will find this audio CD useful and enjoyable in their creative journey.
