As a parent of an undergraduate and with no prior knowledge or understanding of the Oxbridge methods this book was a hugely educational, interesting and entertaining insight into the history, culture and community that forms Cambridge. It went a long way to demystify the written and unwritten rhyme, and helped me to appreciate the world my child was entering into. For the first time I could understand the process and underlying reasons for allowing every student the space through formal study, informal support, supervision and the myriad of activities and ideas freely available to everyone to find their own special niche, aptitude and enthusiasms. A joy to read!
