Connected the scanner to the computer and installed the disc supplied and it was immediately recognised and ready for use. The software supplied allowed easy scanning and storing of the slides with the bonus of providing some editing functions. I then transferred the slides to my own photoshop organiser.
The only slight problem was deciding which slide holder to use. I found that the holder that held the 3 35mm slides was a tight fit at first but eased up in use. A great scanner when compared with my previous method using a print scanner with an adaptor. The increase in scanning speed is beyond belief.

Really impressed with this. Very quick to install software and get started. The slides scan easily, and you have the choice of editing the images before or after copying them. The quality of scan is good too. Great value for money.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Received this scanner very quickly from Germany installed the Arcsoft software on my XP pro PC but had an authorisation problem with a .dll file not installing as a result software would not acquire the scanner. Complex to resolve. Tried on my Windows 7 laptop no problem was up & running in minutes. Scanned a mixture of colour slides, B & W Slides, Colour & B&W negatives. The scans are generally good but illumination is uneven with fall off to the edges & corners. This may be a fault & I am in contact with suppliers & manufacturers in Germany to resolve the problem. I will update my review when problem is resolved.
