this is the cd where silva screen have finally got all the ingredients just right after so many years of churning out ill conceived cds. even the first reel chill was like all the other compilations. silva screen has a long history of recording excellent reinterpretations of classic film scores. sadly they also pile their cds high and sell them cheap. subsequently although their compilations contain excellent music, its all over the place! but here for the very first time they have actually stopped and thought about the tracks as well as their placement to give this album a feel that does exactly as it says on the cover with some inspired choices. highly recommended and possibly the finest silva release yet.

What a crowning achievement to bring "REEL CHILL VOL.2", released by Silva America and featuring The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus ~ conductor James Fitzpatrick and David Temple director of the chorus ~ one can only expect the highest quality of performances and quench the thirst of all "film-score-buffs".
