This film tells the tale of the Harper Affair, in which young Jimmy Harper finds his life of promise turn into a life of debauchery and murder thanks to the new drug menace marijuana. Along the way he receives help from his girlfriend Mary and Jesus himself, but always finds himself in the arms of the Reefer Man and the rest of the denizens of the Reefer Den.

I brought this DVD after seeing my friends perfrom Reefer Madness, and loving the catching songs and awfully brilliant one liners (I've been in more laps than a napkin), I decided to get the DVD of the show so I could watch it at home, (and sing along without an audience). I was quite shocked when it arrived and was a german DVD, somehow I had missed all the clues before hand, such as the picture of a german DVD. Luckily it plays in both English and German, and you can have english subtitles, or german subtitles, or german subtitles just for the song. Unfortunatly the menu is only in german, so that may be a problem if you cant understand it (though then you really should buy the english version), but a little bit of guess work worked for me.
Reefer Madness is a musical like no other, its truely unforgettable. Set as a presentation given to warn parents about the harmful effects of the new drug Marijuana, it tells the story of Jimmy and how it ruins his life. Once you watch this, your crave more, more, more!
